As the film has appeared is congenial enough, and under the maintenance, to a popular series of computer games Max Payne 1-2 also interest to it has been caused generally by admirers of game or those who at least played it. For general public the film of a great value does not represent. But the insurgent road, with qualitatively executed special effects and not burdened by an intricate plot of very few people will leave disappointed.

The film plot is rather simple: policeman Max Pejn who has lost a family, and its girl-friend (on game) Mona which sister have killed, as well as in “Max Payne”, unite against the general enemy. Imaginary allies and false opponents diversify the ordinary police insurgent a little. And with a genre first minutes of a film to be defined difficultly: whether it horror, whether a fantasy. Neither that, nor another, certainly, incorrectly.

From the very beginning the film purposely causes false sensation of fast  destruction of the protagonist in the spectator. Advancement on a plot shows us pictures of more and more deep falling of Max in the hole of alienation dug by it and sotsiopatii. We observe of how the protagonist, is no time fair kop and the kind family man, all approaches to that line when the person ceases to be considered as the more close and on it hunting begins.

Conditions all are forced, reach a pressure limit, and during the culmination moment we see a scene shown to us at the very beginning of a film: Max Pejn sinks in ice water. We feel a regret and disappointment – the protagonist was lost, without having had time to punish all villains. And here the best comes, in my opinion, the moment in a film. Max agonal vision, its lost wife, says: “Yet time, Max”, -
