In March-April, 2009 Fund of Development the Internet has conducted research «the Internet eyes of children and teenagers of a megacity» in which 188 Moscow schoolboys of the senior classes have taken part.
Results of research impress. 60 % of all interrogated have informed that for one session spend on the Internet from 1 till 3 o’clock. 11 % of senior pupils spend to Networks from 3 till 5 o’clock for one session. On the basis of this data researchers have calculated, what is the time the child on the average spends to Networks in a week. If the child connects Network 1-2 times a day at 1-3 o’clock the minimum of 7 hours per week turns out. A maximum – 42 hours. And if to take figures from 3 till 5 o’clock for a session? In this case, on the average according to research, it turns out that interrogated children spend 24,5 hours per week to Networks – and these are already whole days. If to consider that the tenth part 11-klassnikov have answered that spend to networks for 5-10 hours for one session time spent by them in the Network, increases from 35 o’clock (minimum) to 70 (maximum) in a week. It means that on the average in a week the teenagers who have given such answer, spend in a world wide web more than two days. Thus according to interrogations of Fund of Public opinion among schoolboys (is more senior 12 years) in the Network game services are most popular: 45 % interrogated play network games.
According to the various researches, Internet dependent is about the tenth part of users all over the world. The Russian psychologists consider that among the Russian schoolboys Internet dependent can be from 2 % to 5 % from total number of users.
