Preference – ancient enough gambling which became popular in Russia in 19 century. Preference was game of aristocrats, in game played for money usually from 2х to 4х the person. Game also is known under the name “pulka”.

Preference (fr. preference «preference, advantage») – gambling. Predecessors of game preference was whist and other gamblings. It is played three together, four together (one by turns «on prikupe») or together (gusarik). Basically, it is possible to play structure and more than four persons but then game loses dynamism and interest to it vanishes, as one or more players thus do not play 2 and more circles, besides, bullet record extremely gets confused.

Preference is commercial game, that is game on money in which the prize or loss is defined in a greater degree by ability of the player, rather than luck, unlike games hazardous. However in preference money is not a strategy element (unlike poker, for example) that does by their unessential part of game.

There are some conventions defining an estimation of games – are most known sochinka, leningradka and rostov. Also the so-called classical variant is known.
